Can you pop into SW to discuss the issue of the satin versus the eggshell? maybe something is wrong, otherwise it’s could be the color?

Emerald satin is an eggshell-ish finish. Each line of paint has different named sheens. So Emerald Satin isn't the same finish as Superpaint satin. I was told at SW's, that Emerald satin is a finish between eggshell and matte. It is comparable to the low-lustre finish of Cashmere.

OMG just had 3 rooms painted and painter used that SW product. Hate it. Have always used BM semi gloss so the feel of this is awful.

I used Emerald when it first came out and it was horrible. It was difficult to use and the finish was horrible. And I love SW paints, and I've never had any issue with SuperPaint or Cashmere.

We are using Emerald urethane for our cabinets. We used satin finish, but the bottom cabinets are painted in a darker custom color and the finish is nice and smooth. We are painting the top cabinets now with Pure White and they are chalky feeling. We’ve had inconsistency in every Sherwin Williams paint we’ve bought in the last year. Very frustrating.
