baseboards will not trump the showcase wall, but without them it would look very strange

What don't you like about the baseboard in your inspopic?

Particularly how it runs into the feature wall.

FWIW, I have a tiled walls in my bathroom which just meet the marble tile of the bathroom floor. There are no baseboards in my bathrooms. It certainly simplifies cleaning as far as I'm concerned since there is no painted wall to deal with.

I think the rendering looks fine -- tiled walls meeting tiled floors, and drywalled walls meeting baseboards. You would stop noticing this.

What rendering software was used to create this? Pretty impressive inclusion of reflections and shadows. I like the tile to tile wall, and the baseboards on the opposing walls, just like in the pics.

You won't notice the baseboard if it's painted the same color as the wall. Cool bathroom idea!
