Does one of the whites match your upper cabs? I like either square or hexagon shape (placed horizontally I think) but either in a solid & yes, a neutral color so there’s no distractions or competition with with countertop pattern. Can you get a larger sample with more pieces so you can see better which color out of your countertops looks best with your cabinet color? I really like your mix of cabs, countertops, & flooring so far!

I like the color of the off-white square tile under the outlet on right, next to the light blue/grey tile. I think a darker tile will make the kitchen look dingy/shadowed. Can't go wrong with neutral in any shape.

I personally would not go with the cream tile, just because you have very white upper cabinets above it. In your first picture, second tile from the right could work, you also may want to pull one of the greenish colors from of the countertop.

This would bother me....

I think my husband has decided the off whites bother him too!

I'd go with the 4th tile from the left in the first photo (the one under the outlet in the first photo). I also like the far left square tile in that same photo. I usually tend to prefer color, but I'm not sure I like any of the less neutral options with your wall color.

I do like the creamy white hexagon too (2nd hexagon from left).

You need to tape up a few sheets of white printer paper to block the paint color and give you a true representation of the tile colors. Evaluating the tiles against the paint color might lead to results that aren't quite right.

The movement of your countertop will look better with the hex.

I like the three middle colors. I would not bring another color into the mix. You can always add colorful accessories.

I would do a hex or a simple subway tile. Right now the gorgeous counter top is the star, so I would not add any shape that competes with it. The white is a no go with the uppers, as you have already decided.
