I would appreciate advice on a window wall where there is about 24” on each side of a street-facing window that has gorgeous moldings. The area is like an alcove formed by the vestibule wall. Options are:

1. Curtains across entire wall
2. Curtains and shears across entire wall
3. Curtains and shears only covering window hung just outside of moldings
   Would shears hide the moldings?
   Should the curtains (+ shears) be wall-to-wall or cover just the window? Would it look odd to have less than 2’ of blank wall?
   At one time I was considering light filtering cellular shades that pull down from the top for privacy with shears but realized that curtains would add more warmth and also provide privacy at night.
