Design Dilemma Basements

Basement Colors

We are finishing our basement. We have the the flooring already. It's LVT Shaw weathered oak. The trim will be Extra White. So for the main living area I was thinking Edgecomb Gray & Sea Salt for the bathroom. Am I picking dated colors? Do I need more of a contrast with the flooring & paint? Help!

I think the combo is nice. I think the combo is safe.

Personally, I like basement colors to be darker, simply because lights are on most of the time. And I like some fun...something I probably wouldn't do upstairs.

La Paloma Gray...good undertones for the oak floor

A steel gray sofa, because the floor has touches of gray and fun art for the walls

Wisteria just because it goes great with La Paloma.

I like the third color down. Grey undertones. We are keeping our basement light wood, with lots of recessed lights.
