I know this was discussed back in 2007, but I haven’t seen it since. I am close to ordering my Blue Star range and hood. The ruby red color RAL 3003 in most pictures I’ve seen, including ones sent to me by Blue Star, look to be a true deep cherry red, a beautiful red color that I love. The 3003 color sample sent to me by Blue Star, however, looks burgundy. My sample is close to a maroon, a wine red, or almost brown red, and I’m paranoid to order ruby red and end up with a burgundy range. I’ve called all the Blue Star dealers within two hours of my home, and no one has a red range in their showroom. If you have a Blue Star in ruby red, I’d love some reassurance with a description of the color. I was going to order Carmine red 3002 instead, but the one picture I’ve seen of it looks orange red. My kitchen has lots of natural light...6 windows, 2 glass doors, and 2 skylights, so darkness is not the problem. A KD told me that when you blow up the color samples into a large version, the colors catch the light and often appear lighter in tone. Can anyone help me?
