Looks like a do able plan. Remember, it's all in the finishes. make it timeless.

I would flip the door, and put a wall to remove the acute angle corner. Also 2 sinks in such a small bathroom probably won't be utilized for kids at a certain age - they won't want to simultaneously use the bathroom. Make sure your clearances are there (others not shown).

I agree that two sinks for a kids’ bathroom seems like a bad idea. Unless you have two girls who get along exceptionally well and would both be fixing their hair at the same time.

Can you do a pocket door?

Good idea to flip the door! Another reason for one sink is that as these kids get older they will be needing things like curling irons, hairdryers, and electric razors perhaps which will be safer with more countertop space to rest on.

Completely agree @hu818472722. I’m so happy to have that feedback and I know for sure my two girls will have blow dryers, curling irons and makeup when they get older. Definitely one sink is the way to go

One sink with more counter space for sure. And pocket doors can be very expensive depending on the construction of your walls. Can the door swing out or is there a narrow hallway there?

Is this an existing bathroom? If it is still on paper, why is it designed to have an odd shape?

My first thought was the same as Red. Can the door open outward instead of inward?

An outswing door would not be a good idea:

- swinging into hallway means someone walking through's gonna get knocked

- the door always has to be shut, you can't open a window and keep the door open to ventilate

Make sure your minimum 28" wide door does not interfere with the toilet, the drawing may not be to scale. IMO a pocket door would not be optimal for a high-use bathroom with the kids.

The back of the door seems to be the only place to store bath towels to dry...
