Loved my Thermador appliances in my last house. Moved a few years ago and the builder grade appliances were JennAir... we did not like any of their appliances at all. I don’t know anything about any of the other options, but I would absolutely choose Thermador.

Thanks @megs1030! There aren‘t many people who have experience with both so this is really helpful! These were probably the lower end JennAir models then, right? Wondering what it was that you didn’t like? Functionality or were they unreliable? In looking for reviews on any appliance brand, I see primarily negative ones, and this tends to be even more true of the higher end models. (Thermador included). I don’t know if this is because they actually require frequent an costly repairs, or because people are especially frustrated and more likely to write a negative review if they’ve spent lots of money for the appliance! I have only ever had builder grade appliances but they have never given me any problems. The current ones are 15 years old! While I’d like something a little fancier, in the end, I just want stuff that works! Was your Thermador reliable? just better because it could do more? Or both?
