I too am considering waterproof hardwood and would like to hear from others that have it and how too I like it. I’m looking at a product called Worthington Estate made by Abbey Carpet & Floor. Thanks!

We have decided to go with engineered wood. The house is on pier and bean, and apparently some vinyl can begin to have ridges in it due to the subfloor.

Thanks for the feedback. There isn’t much information available online about the waterproof hardwood so I’m skeptical of the performance. The sample I have looks great and dealer says it’s a great product. Tough decision.

We have the Golden Arowana Walkabout HDPC Waterproof Engineered Wood Flooring and it sucks big time. The laminate is peeling off the surface. We've been going around and around with Wellmade and thus far they are not willing to honor their warrantee. Stay far away from them and their products.

Can you give an update on the issue you were having with the well made floors?
