A glass front corner cabinet to both store and display kitchen/dining items you value but rarely use because they're large or valuable/breakable.

Corner cabinet with glass doors or open shelves up top but doors below. Seasonal items you don't want to display all the time could be stored behind the solid doors at the bottom of the unit.

An open shelf corner cabinet to store your countertop appliances to clear them from the countertop space they're currently occupying -- making that space available for use.

If the corner gets direct sunlight or at least day light, a plant stand and plant could occupy that corner.

Another option:

You could hang one wall shelf and add a comfortable stool that would push beneath it, making it a meal planning desk. Then add wall hung corner shelving above that.

You don't have room for a large piece there but you could add a shelving unit. By painting it the same color as your wall or cabinets -- or at least choosing a light color -- you would not be drawing attention to the awkward corner but still able to use the space.

Another idea might be to create a "window" on that wall between your cabinets and new corner unit.

Whether you do shelves down the walls or bars to hang things from open storage options would be great in this space and you could add some greenery to add to it.

Here's an idea for shelving. Some of the reasons why this option might work is because it is shallower on the top, so might not feel as confining at eye level. Yet it feels grounded, because it is wider on the bottom. The overhead light will illuminate items on each of the shelves since there is a minor setback as you go up the ladder. The taller height will tend to draw your eye upwards. Comes in black or white.
