Induction cooktop with best controls

After seeing it work in person, I've finally decided to opt for an induction cooktop vs gas. The one thing I'm hesitant about is the touch controls vs knobs which I'm so used to on a gas range. I'm looking at mid-range (not ultra-high-end).

The GE Cafe has an interesting control that permits you to swipe the circle around instead of repeatedly pushing or or down.

There's a Frigidaire Professional induction cooktop has knobs - but it's lower end and not sure of the quality.

Does anyone have an induction cooktop and find the controls come closer to a knob - or at least avoid repeated pushing + or - to control temperature?

Bosch allows you to select the burner and then power setting from a number line 0-10 with .5 increments.

@cfillyaw which Bosch model are you referring to? Do all have (I was looking at the Benchmark model with flex. Not sure it has it? And do you own one - and how do you like it?

We have a Viking- middle of the road. Regarding pressing '+' or '-' to choose a heat setting - you only have to touch the temp 'dot' that you want. Meaning you don't repeatedly hit + or - to go to what temp you want. A friend has a different brand of induction and we agree that they run 'hot'. Also we would have preferred to have one gas burner set in next to the induction- true wok cooking is not possible with electric. Also for times when the power is off which is usually due to a power line down because of a fallen tree(s) in a storm. Common here in Florida.

I own the Benchmark with the flex. Overall I am quite happy.

The word "allows" should be changed to "forces".
