I will always opt for the lighter color.

Won’t afford a remodel after this one! We cook every day, 99% is Indian food so have to consider ease of cleaning, propensity for staining etc. My helper does most of the cooking so have to keep it simple and user-friendly. The contractor advised Quartz counter-tops but I feel Granite will better withstand our type of cooking
