Your sample seems darker than the sample I saw of the calypso. It looked really yellow toned in the samples I looked at. I liked the cairo oak colors much more but I am personally looking for lighter colors. Ravenswood has been my favorite I think it looks like a good in between color of the two you have picked out.

if you go with Cairo Oak, be aware it is on backorder and will likely take longer than you anticipate to arrive. been waiting a bit over 2 months now

@nicolesullivan I know this post is older, but super curious to know which floor you decided on, Cairo or Calypso? I'm looking at Cairo at the moment, and am also wondering how prominent the knots will be! Anyway - would love to know which path you went and see pics! :)
