Problems w/ Dark Brown Grout

Anyone have experience with Polyblend Plus Grout in Coffee Bean? We had serious shading/discoloration, and suspect it was because our tiler mixed it with Miracle brand Grout Shield. We’ve removed the old grout, but before we use Coffee Bean again (this time mixed with water) want to see whether others have fun into this problem. Thanks!

Can we see what you are working with IMO high contrast grout is not usually a good idea.

Sure thing. Here's a snap of tile, with grout before we removed it. The tile has dark brown edges. We are definitely not going for high contrast, and are trying to avoid lighter grout. It is a little hard to see in this photo, but the dark brown grout was unevenly washed out/discolored.
