Why " no"?

So mirrors are pretty awful when reflecting all ove the place and especially off a ceiling. We would need to see the space but IMO a large mirror hung over a nice console table is what I would do to keep it looking less like an 80s dance hall all you would be missing is the disco ball.

I would break it up into a grid design or use trim around it. And of course you’ll have to figure out lighting.

I think it would be quite expensive to do, but is very striking and ultra contemporary.
