I find the Toto toilet we’ve had for about 10-15 years has never required a plunger. If you don’t want to spend the extra $, you can try flushing half way thru, like 2 times per go. Or don’t use super thick multi-ply toilet paper, or GN Builders advice :)

Same issue at my house for years. Switched to Toto toilets about 4 years ago and the problem disappeared!

That ^^^ and all logs over 5 pounds should be lower by rope.

We have a 7 year old Kohler pressure assist. It never, ever clogs. Our Totos are fine... but sounds like you need a lil extra. go For the pressure assist.

A few years ago with our bathroom renovations; we had our 3 toilets replaced with Kohlers. No issues.

Flush half way through and save hundreds.

Seriously.

And go see a doctor because that's really not normal 😳

@Stax We haven't had to get parts yet. It works great, and it's the downstairs powder room in a family of 7.

So.

The TOTO CST744S Drake 1.6 GPF Two Piece Elongated Toilet with G-Max Flush System is a fine toilet. The Drake comes in many models. This one flushes with the most water (1.6 gallons per flush) but I don't think you want one that uses less; I didn't! Just add a seat (e.g., TOTO SS114). (This toilet is also easy to install because it's a two-piece toilet.)
