It depends upon the budget, of course both will be quite expensive. The look you’ve shown in your drawing correlates well to certain aluminium railing options which can give the same look with lower Material costs and MUCH lower installation costs as any rail installer can do it. Based on my experience as both a deck builder, code rail installer, and woodworker is that the best money for value proposition I’ve come across is WESTBURY rail. I’ll attach a link below. They do glass panels as well as mid rail like in your drawing, in many varieties. They achieve an excellent finish and install fairly easily for a rail installer with any significant experience.

I think glass will not suit the style of your home as much as iron, but suggest a more modern style. Simple, classic and not overwhelming
