can we see the pot and the whole plant ...

i doubt the humidifier accomplishes anything beside run up the electric bill ...

palms shed old fronds.. annually.. so a lost frond or two is usually not an issue ... they are usually the oldest ones ...

does it need water once a week ... do you check,,... or is it just a schedule thing???

ive had the plant for about a year and it hasn’t lost a frond before so I was pretty concerned, especially because it felt soft on the area of the stock where it snapped - I included a photo.

Yes it usually gets watered once a week (every Sunday morning), but this last time I watered it (which was yesterday) I waited a little longer (9 days) because the bottom soil was still seemed wet when I had checked it.
