I am thinking about getting an apple tree and grafting multiple varieties of apple onto it, like a frankentree and its very difficult to find information on the apple mosaic virus. I know it spreads via cuttings. Should I worry about it, and therefore not do a frankentree? How do I find verified disease free scionwood, or better yet, how do I remove the disease from scionwood? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
