Storing lily bulbs until I can get them in the ground.

So my lollipop lily bulbs arrived a bit earlier than expected. They came already sprouting and look great! But I have a bit more prep to do until they can be in their permanent home... should I put them in pots? I know I'm supposed to keep them moist until they get in the ground. I'm very excited for these and just want to know how to store them until I'm ready to plant in the ground.
