I like the dark beams and would leave them as is. I think they go well with your floors and provide a thematic tie in.

We own a townhouse that has similar angled beams and can comment on both options since all owners are working with the same layout and design. Some owners have painted theirs white to try to blend better. Others have left their beams as dark wood beams. The units where the beams have stayed dark are much more attractive because of the contrast.
