7th generation unscented, works great. They do have some with scents.

Thank you Ker9. I'm a little hesitant because it says on the bottle "powered by plants" which is the change they made to Palmolive. Does it have a thick consistency or thin?

Dawn ultra, Original scent, thickest I've found. (Not Platinum powerwash = horrible scent.)

Another vote for Seventh Generation Unscented. However it is thinner. I prefer it thinner. Why do you want it thicker? Dishwashing liquid does NOT clean any better if it is thicker. It just has more chemicals in it to make thicker because people have been brainwashed that thicker soap cleans better, so the manufacturers add stuff to make it gloppier.

Furthermore, the thicker dishwashing liquids clog the soap dispensers. People come on this forum saying they hate soap dispensers cause they clog. But if they just used a thinner dishwashing liquid, their soap dispensers wouldn’t have that problem.

Once you get used to thinner dishwashing liquid, the thick ones look icky.

Like thicker because you use less and bottle lasts much longer; thinner solutions just have more water added.

The scent is very minimal, hard to smell, but maybe smells like water or the ocean???

Third recommendation for Seventh Generation brand unscented. (Though we've used their Lemon scent version before, and it was fine, too.) It's not thin:

Note that ker9 posted a photo above of the 7th Generation's liquid soap for dishwashing by hand, whereas I use their gel made especially for dishwashing by machine -- which is much thicker by comparison.

Thanks mdln. I'll see if my local supermarket has it. I had to use so much more of the new formula Palmolive has since it is so thin - and I still felt that it wasn't doing a good job.

I was looking for the most non toxic and scent free dishwashing liquid I could find. I am using Attitude Baby Bottle and Dishwashing Liquid. I love it.

Blue Dawn is thick, very low scent if any and is seriously multi purpose. Clothing stains, shower cleaner.

It is a medium consistency and makes good suds, unlike some of the other non toxic detergents I have tried.

I've been using Ecos. Medium consistency; not at thick as some. No scent; hypoallergenic.
