Bought 4 of these 2 years ago on clearance for a dollar. Obviously they had 2 roses in each pot. They all bloom like this.

Love all your blooms, Kate! How long have you had Memory of Morning? Mine has a couple of scapes. I loved the blooms last season and look forward to seeing more. Your roses and dianthus are so pretty, I really need to pick up more dianthus, or at least some seeds

Nancy, I edited to add descriptions of those plants. I think you are referring to the shrub rose as dianthus-sorry I was late in doing this-Houzz did not post the first time and then posted twice- It was time for church so I did not spend more time on it! But yes, you do need to add dianthus!! I love mine-it reseeds and spreads and blooms off and on all season. This is the third year for Memory of Morning. It has not multiplied well and I may need to move it.

Thanks Debra-WM is another that has not multiplied much but is in a shady spot. It never fails to rebloom.

Son I was expecting dianthus so that iswhat i saw in the red rose. I had lots of red at one time in different shades, always enjoyed it. I had some like the called Sooty that looked very like the deep red in your 2nd pic, one of my favs

Memory of Morning here is in a pretty good location, but has not been multiplied much. It almost died the 1st year I had it, no bloom that year, and all that survived was an offshoot, the size of a proliferation. It came back the next spring, but no bloom that year. Last year it bloomed for the 1st time, and put out another fan. This year I have 2 fans, 2 scapes, and looks like 1 fan may divide into a 3rd, hopefully.

I also like Memory of Morning. Nice pattern. Lovely photo and you must be so excited to see lots of color each day. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the pictures. I love the dianthus. I walked out this morning after a heavy rain and could smell the fragrance on the air.

Geometric Wizard is one of my favorites and an early one to bloom for us. I just found a scape on it this morning.

I love the color of Memory of Morning. I'd love to see a photo of it after a warm night.

We just put in a blanket flower last year and it's looking really good. It has buds but no blooms yet.

My favorite photo has to be Song writer and the Lantana. How pretty they are together....You deserve a pat on the back for keeping those roses going. Usually they are sold like that as barely rooted cuttings, and most don't survive the aftermath of sale to non rose growers. Are they minis?:..................Maryl

Julia, the lilies are marching out one by one. Soon they will be showing up in clump form. Won’t be long!! I am about a week behind Kay in that respect.

Nancy, with out heat zipping up-90 by the end of the week-I am sure to see MOM after a warm night!

Maryl, you should have seen those scraggly little roses when I got them! Pitiful!! This is their third year and I am going to need to trim them back! They are already four feet wide!! And yes, they are minis-shrub rose mini-the pink side blooms are more tightly furled than the white.
