Is this a remodel? Your floor plan doesn't lend itself well to open concept. You would be out a significant amount of money re-routing both your plumbing and rangetop/oven feeds (whether gas or electric) to tear down that wall. If this is a house plan for a new build, you need to get a new crop of plans to consider to reach your goals.

The plan is difficult to read and I can't tell what the angled object to the right of the fridge is--cabinet? winder stairs?

If you omit the exterior door from the kitchen, and add a window, the range and fridge could go on that wall, with the range centered between the windows. The sink and DW could go in the re-oriented island. I added a side-loading cabinet to the left of the fridge, for use as pantry storage, brooms, or items needed on the deck.

The cabs where the fridge is currently could become a coffee/breakfast area, maybe with an UC fridge, or storage for other foodstuffs, since the range wall would have no upper cabinets. I can't tell the measurement of the width of the room, but if it's wide enough, you could add a second row of cabinets to the island and/or make the base cabinets on the range wall extra deep to match the depth of the fridge.

If it would be worth the expense, the door from the FR to the deck could be moved closer to the kitchen.

    Discussions--extra deep cabinets

@mama goose_gw zn6OH I like that idea what do you think about these two layouts, one with the fridge on the outside wall one next to the pantry. The angled object is a built in desk that will be ripped out first and foremost as it completely clutters the entry to the kitchen. The walls I left in these layouts I believe need to be left in place to support overhead beams. In the current config there is a bar sink on the back of the wall where the current kitchen sink is any chance to just integrate the main sink there or does that take the kitchen too far into the sitting space?

I like the new fridge/pantry location in the last plan, but the island is a barrier between the sink and the range. Second plan is nice because you could have a MW/snack area to the left of the fridge, which would keep grazers out of the prep and cooking zone.

As for keeping the bar sink plumbing for the main sink, block it off to see if you have space to do that with the furniture in the sitting area. You could do a pass-through over the sink, to have a connection between the kitchen and sitting room, or just make that a half wall with a ledge--but that will decrease upper cabinets for storage. Rough idea keeping window and exterior door as is:

@mama goose_gw zn6OH what do you think about this layout?

created better walkway to back game room and created built in pantry wall on the right.

Added the taller bar height at the end of the peninsula since the space seem way to open...thoughts?

What about sink placement this is a stock layout in Floorplanner.com but I could see the sink on the left most leg facing the sitting room and fireplace.

I don't care for the winding peninsula; it cuts off circulation, and do you want two people sitting at a different height than the others? Maybe if the raised area was just cabinetry with no seats.

In m/l the same layout, you could do a large island with a workstation sink. The following plan could be flipped--you need to decide if the fridge would be better located closer to the FR and bedroom hallway or the sitting/dining room. You could prep with a view to the door and window, or, if flipped, the single window.

This option would be expensive--you'd probably need two slabs for the island (but you'd need them for the peninsula, too), and you'd need to worry about a pattern match or bookmatch at the seam. Work-station sinks are expensive, although you can use a large sink with a positive reveal and have a cutting board made to fit the ledge.

If you want separation between the sitting room and kitchen, you could have a peninsula plus island, with better circulation than the L peninsula:
