Easy Does It is a blooming champ!

Jump for Joy is hardly ever out of bloom.

you dont mention what type of rose you are looking for ...

many of the best.. imo.. are hybrid Ts ... but i would not call them constant blooming ... in my MI.. they bloomed ... in a perfect world.. about once every 6 weeks or so.. properly maintained ...

also ... it wouldnt hurt to tell us where you are .. big city name.. so we could give you an idea of your blooming season ... my MI starts late.. and ends early ...

good work deciding against the purple ones.. imo ... they are just marketing hype on a rose that is just about never vigorous .. and now that i typed that... wait for the usual suspect to come along and say its the easiest.. most prolific.. care free rose they ever grew... lol ...

Ken I am nearest to Toledo, OH and have gravitated toward floribundas for the most part for the heavy blooming/size profile, but am a newbie and definitely open to suggestions!

Crazy Love, Just Joey are nice apricots. Arctic Blue is a good lavender if you’re still looking 😜.

Oh noooo! I had finally settled on Just Joey (since Easy Does It is not available anywhere that I can see and I dont want to wait til fall), I just realized JJ is only hardy to zone 7! I'm in 6a near Toledo. What a bummer!

I planted At Last 2 years ago and even though it didnt do much the first year and part of the next, there is just something so pretty about the color and form. This year it has gone crazy with blooms.

Soul Sister is a beautiful rose but not sure about zones on either of those roses

This is Apricot Candy -a tree rose. It’s a floribunda and never stops blooming. Another option.

How about a polyantha? They're hard to beat in amount and frequency of bloom. Would Perle d'Or work for you? It has a nice fragrance and is a soft apricot.

I don't find lavender roses difficult at all. Even Angel Face is easy if you live in a low/no blackspot zone. Then you get lavender ruffles. But if you really want mega ruffles and lots of blooms, you need Augusta Luise. A more refined look is offered by Tamora, which blooms continually for me, but doesn't have a lot of ruffles. Diane

Jessica if it makes you feel any better, my own root Just Joey from RU is coming back beautifully and I live in zone 4 in Wyoming....

What about "Spartan" I just got it as a bagged rose and it hasn't bloomed yet, but it should look like this.

I have Just Joey in Z5 and he does well. On the smaller side but I he's one of my favorites. Soul Sister is gorgeous but was very susceptible to BS here for me and did not do well.

Kristine, are you guys talking about weeds in my yard? Haha. I don't do yards, so that's my poor son in law's fault. Love your Easy Does It, Kristine. I grew it for several years until our horrible winter of 2016-7, when it had winter dieback. EDI still bloomed nicely, but didn't get its vigor back, and I wanted to change its bed, so out EDI went. But it's blooms were so lovely.

Diane - GASP!!!!! STUNNED SWOONING!! I don't know why you don't pitch a tent and live/sleep in your garden!! Have your roses been in the local news or magazine? Can you imagine having wedding pictures there? Oh wow!!! Or getting married under you Collette trellis? I agree with you about Tamara...it doesn't have the oomph that your other roses have. It's a beautiful rose...but your other ones are incredible and magical!!

Carol, thanks so much, but right now if a couple got married under Colette, she'd probably kill them accidentally by crushing them in a poky congratulatory hug. She's a huge wild lady because I didn't get her pruned. As soon as the wind dies down in a day or two, then out comes my camera. Right now it's cold and windy--just miserable to be in. But you've got us beat with snow. There's got to be some way to let the weather gods know that it's spring already. Diane

Diane - the roses may be able to go out for the day on Friday...and they can go in the backyard next weekend. Baby steps. :)
