You could do something like this. The wood on the ceiling would be an amazing statement for your room. Of course you could do a wood that matches your floors.

Some people paint the ceiling a color, to add interest. You could add a large round ceiling medallion too.

Folding glass doors and a ceiling something like this would look nice.

Really IMO a slanted ceiling is already an issue and i think covering it in wood would be my last choice but I do need to see the whole space from back far enough to see how the ceiling relates to the space. That chandelier is hung way too high if it is over a dining table so post some proper pictures .

It’s a living room. Open to kitchen and dining area. 14 foot ceilings at highest. I added two more pictures. It is difficult to get everything in the picture.

How about grasscloth wallpaper on the ceiling or possibly even decorative painting?

Can’t see the vault to have no idea where beam would go

I personally wouldn't do it. You already have a dark beam and window framing and a lot of things going on lower down. I'd leave the architecture overhead as a restful space for the eye to travel and enjoy the planes. Also, the peak zone is relatively small compared to the angled planes, which makes it unlikely that a decorative finish would look right up there.

I wouldn't do it, either. There is so much going on up there--recessed lights, vent covers, smoke alarm?..anything else you throw up there is going to look like a muddled mess. The less attention drawn to it, the better. Looks like there are two colors of paint up there as is. I would paint all one color and try to ignore it.
