I think gold hardware on both black and island will look great. Can you show us a wider picture? do you just need over the island lighting? how big is the island?

I would also go with the gold. The gold will compliment you countertops and flooring. I think a beautiful chandelier would look great in your eclectic kitchen❣️

IMO you need tons of lighting in that black hole so change the bulbs in the pot lights to LED 4000K then get a fixture that hangs much lower with at least 3 heads that shine on the counter also in LED 4000k . IMO that black is gobbling all the light in the space and no matter what color pulls it won't help. I find the whole space not really planned cohesively just a bit of bibs and bobs all thrown together .Eclectic works but only when well thought out.

You can see we didn't use much hardware in this kitchen however note the lighting. We have undercabinet lighting, pendant lights, and recessed lights.

I find the space very interesting and different. I would love to see more pictures. I also think moody and dark can be appealing and I do not need a kitchen bright enough to perform surgery which many kitchens appear to be like.
