i doubt its getting appropriate light on an interior wall ...

its in stressed from moving from seller to your house ... going from near perfect growing conditions ... maybe even from moving from grower to seller ... also ..

was there any cold event when it was moved??

water when it needs water.. not on some random schedule ... let near dry in between ...

Over watering kills at least as often as under and where it is is not bright enough for an olive tree at all. Moving shock is also very common so move to a brighter spot ,water when needed and be patient it will take a bit to recover . You want to mimic the climate olive trees grow in to have the best .

Olives need LOTS of sunlight. Like right against a large south-facing window. Don't plant them in a regular potting mix -- use a fast-draining mix designed for cactus, succulents and citrus.

Think of these trees growing in their natural conditions -- rocky, gravely soil, tons of sun and little water.

Do you have a fruiting olive? They produce a lot of pollen that can be very hard on sensitive people, especially indoors! These trees are actually not legal to plant in my county because of that (we want to please the tourists 😎 ).

Also, even dwarf varieties can't be grown indoors forever, unless you have a conservatory/large sunroom. And do some research on how to fertilize them.

3 years later and wondering if non-fruiting olives have any pollen or allergy issues? How would it fare 1-2.5 ft from a SW picture window?
