Is my birkin philodendron ok?

Hi! New to houseplants...is my birkin philodendron ok? A week or so ago the top leaf started sticking straight up. It does have new growth but I pulled a brown leaf shoot out of the top leaf a few days ago - the other new ones are fine. Is all this normal? What is it trying to tell me, lol?

perhaps that it needs more light ..

the stalk is etoliating.. extending to search for more light .. and like a satellite dish.. its probably facing whatever light is available,,,,,

how far is it from the closest available.. usable.. light???

btw.. does that pot have a drain hole???

Ken, these are planted in nursery pot that is inside the white decorative cover pot.

These are sold by Costa Farms and I am well familiar with their system.

Acacia, your plant looks fine to me. Make sure when you do water it that you take the plant in the nursery pot out, water it, let it drain before you put it back in the cover pot.
