We moved into our new home in Maryland in August. We have a big, beautiful backyard (about an acre) that would be perfect for a pool, but unfortunately due to our septic field, the biggest size pool we could have is 14x30, and it would have to be under a shaded area. We are a family of 4 with an 11yr old and 8yr old. The pictures I see online of 14x30 pools look big enough but when I measured it out with flags in my yard it seems small? Does anyone else with kids have this size pool? Is it worth the cost? I would appreciate any comments, I’m so torn!
