I have 2 Black Walnut trees in the backyard. I am in Zone 6a. Southern Ontario

Questions:

1. Are either Panics or Oakleafs juglone tolerant?
2. Will they survive under light to full shade? 2-3 hrs sun? They would be part shade/part sun until the end of May when the Walnuts leaf out.
3. I'm looking for a 3 season hedge to separate the ravine from our living area. I'm open to other possibilities other than hydrangeas but I do love their long flowering time.
4. 3--4' height is ideal and non-invasive.
