Perfect pic Nancy.. You have a lot of buds on those scapes. Some years for some unknown reason, ie weather, less rain, or some other reason, a daylily has issues with scape height.

Sherry, not sure this daylily is one I could comfortably recommend. The 1st 3 years scapes were short, as in 3 or 4 inches. Blooms always look good though. Bud count right now is no where near the 25 claimed, but better than the 6 to 9 it has been in the past. On the plus side, it usually reblooms so I can take a lower bud count. Julia, I do hope that it continues doing this well, i like the flowers, they always seem to open well and look good.
