kay, you know we never get enough of your daylily pictures. They are all so pretty. I think the Right Front Bed shot is my favorite. The lighting and all those blooms make a gorgeous photo. The Clown Parade clump is so pretty, and it's sib, Marilyn Lee Bock, is quite photogenic too. Does Marilyn perform as well as Clown Parade for you? Emperor Butterfly is looking good. That's one of the few Munsons I still grow. The color is so unique on that one. It's nice to see you still have Crimson Edges. The grubs killed mine several years ago. In fact all my edge-no-eye cultivars are gone now. The grubs must have found them especially tasty. It's good to see Fried Green Tomatoes starting up. That one seemed to bloom forever for you last year. Thanks for sharing your lovelies. I had dozens of blooms that couldn't open today. What a waste of flowers! Maybe tomorrow will be better here.

I agree with Debra. You could never make us tired of looking!! No favorites today as they all look so pretty (well maybe EITV is special!!) but the clumps are looking so good and the garden shot is so pretty. Debra, that was my day yesterday-too cool and so many!’

I am right in with Debra and Kate, I can't get enough of your pictures. Must be wonderful in person. I have been getting blooms the last 3 days but so cool, not much is opening well. On the plus side, most blooms are lasting 2 and even 3 days, lol. I have had to stop myself from trying Marilyn Lee Bock. I have Clown Parade and Malaysian Martketplace that have a similar look. I find that when I like a certain look, I tend to get it in a new daylily over and over again. Love Crimson Edges, but your bed shot is my favorite. I don't have a knack for garden photos, the colors all seem to merge somehow. Great group

Kate, I had the same problem both days. the sun would come out before the blooms opened and. of course, the light is awful for photos then,.. Your beautiful yellow is blooming, but I won't post it until you have posted it. Once they open, I am all over the garden repeatedly snapping photos. Some nice man stopped to tell me my garden was lovely and that he enjoyed looking at the bloomed when he passed by. I assume the doctor has him walking for his health.

Nancy, you have a lovely one with Malaysian Marketplace. It doesn't like it here but I always truly liked it. I take far too many garden shots to post when the clumps start blooming. I have even taken shots of smeller beds. I do enjoy walking at night after I pick the blooms to try and see what is going to bloom the neat day. It is the favorite time of the entire season.

I think Crimson Edges is my favorite today, Catastrophe Waitress is looking really good. little Light of Mine is doing good, the piece you shared with me looks like it is going to do well this season. Of course the bed shot is the best!

Thank you, Sherry. I looked more closely At the Fried Gree Tomato plant today and it has 26 scapes up plus it is a bud-builder. That one is just starting to bloom but I am sure it will be blooming for a while. Crimson Edges seems to do better each year now, and Little Light of Mine should be good for you since it has always always been good here and I have given pieces of it to several people. Bed shots are always a favorite for me every time someone shows one. shows one. I am glad you enjoyed it,

How did I miss this post? I love the clump of Catastrophe Waitress. The color is great. The garden bed shot is lovely..Sun Dazzle is a wonderful large yellow. Great post.

What a peaceful setting for an evening stroll through the garden. I can imagine you examining the next day's blooms. Do you also have to spray repellent in the evening? Those woods must have deer. Thanks for all of the clump shots.
