I'm in the process of siding my house! I know what I like, but want to be sure i can achieve my aesthetic with what I like + my house style + my budget!

I love the newer styles like these...so I took my house (bottom photo) and brought it into illustrator to play around with it....my plan is to do vertical board/batten around the top and all of the front w/ the brick, then horizontal clapboard on the rest of the house.

I'm leaning toward James Hardie/LP Smartside for obvious reasons, but also trying to be realistic as I will not be here forever, maybe 5-8 yrs...what I like about them is they have WIDER clap board and more space than the vinyl options have, but maybe I will be the only one to really know?

I'm leaning toward all white...but also love the idea of staining the front brick either a whitewash OR a dark grey/black...depending on the route I go with color, either way I'm changing the brick. My first option that I loved, based on the inspo pick upper right was the black/white version....just not sure if it's going to look the way I think it will...I DO have WHITE windows, not black, so I also have to keep that in mind....OR I could just go all dark w/ white trim...like in one of the pics below?

Anyway...spinning my wheels so thought i'd throw it out here and get more input! haha!

How it is currently - not a fan of the brick color, but overall, don't mind this grey/beige color way either!
