There's a lot you can do to make your room more inviting and comfy for guests. I wouldn't put anything on that wall. First, I would replace the mis-matched bedside tables with floating shelves (ones with drawers would be nice) and flank the bed with wall-mounted corded sconces. What is the navy thing on the bed? I would try a nice throw blanket folded across the foot of the bed. Where will guests sit to read or text? Do you have a luggage rack in the closet? I'm not a fan of the puddled sheers. Fabric roman shades would look much better, especially since the tight frame on the right prevents proper hanging of drapes.

Agreed, wall is fine. Bedside lamp and the print over the bed are both small for the space.

I think a macrame piece would be very pretty in there, either on that wall, or over the bed.

I don't like a bed with the head toward the door. I would move the bed and art to that wall and move your dresser to where the bed is. Get a larger lamp for the side table. The blank wall will be on the side of the entrance and not noticeable, but functional.

I was thinking the same as Jinx and a macrame piece would look nice there. I just got one for my bedroom at camp for the same reason. I didn't want another picture and their wasn't enough room between the bed and the wall for shelves.
