Landscape architect recommends window wells for side and back of house where basement windows exist due to sloped lawn grading causing water to run toward house. Gutter downspouts will have leaders run away from house and a river rock swale created along back deck. Budget doesn’t allow regrade or retaining walls. What are ideas instead of aluminum window wells which I think are ugly? Thank you!
