We do not want to spend more than we need to - but a perfect Belgian Waffle every time time is the priority.

Breville four square. Mine is perfect after four years. Just looked at the link, big price increase in four years. Still worth it, IMO.

My waffle eating partner was surprised to see that all the Breville options are coated in a teflon like substance rather than ceramic.

Knowing that, is there a ceramic waffle maker that is recommended ??

All clad definitely worth the extra $. I finally shelled out for one a year ago and it is so much better than the rest.

I have a Presto Belgian Waffle Maker, which is fairly inexpensive, and I am very happy with it. I make waffles at least once a month, and this one makes them exactly the way I want them.

The presto flip one is the highest rated one on the internet, even against the expensive models. This is per several reliable sites - like wirecutter - that actually use a ton of models in their testing instead of just consolidate amazon reviews.

Our All Clad is the best Belgian Waffle maker weve ever had.

Well, there is not a lot to choose from in ceramic waffle makers .

I read what was said on Wirecutter - it wasnt a glowing remark...

”The Presto 03510 FlipSide Belgian is very well-reviewed on Amazon, but it cooked waffles unevenly and so quickly that they started to burn after just a few minutes. The other problem with this model is that it occupies a lot of counter space when in use. We did like the timer, though, and we wish other inexpensive models had one.”

However, knowing that it has been suggested here (thank you Lars) - we will give it a try.

I have the All Clad also, it's nice but slow for a large family....I basically need 2 of them.

I have an All Clad four square and love it. If you are concerned about PFOA in the nonstick coating the Breville and All Clad are PFOA-free.
