I like the color scheme as is. Never had black in a kitchen but can imagine it would always look dirty; any water will leave white spots and crusts from minerals in the water, soap, etc.

Perfectly matching every tone only matters to you - nobody else will likely notice it!

Otherwise eh. No biggie.
If you think the slight difference will bug you then change it.
I think I would change the dining light to gold instead of the pendants and tap. But it looks fine as is. And yes, you will probably be the only one to notice. ( and if you notice it and don’t like it change it. If you do, keep it :)

Pull the black in, the only thing I think I’m debating changing is the tap to black right now and I go back and forth a lot lol!

Before doing anything get rid of those horrible Edison buls that cast a yellow glow on everything.IMO the fixture that does not work is the one in the eating area.

Look ok , Especially if I do black pulls, with gold pulls on the island…I like the one in the dining room but yea I will have to look into the yellow glow , doing a gold dining room light with a black table wouldn’t look great I don’t think

Shannon - Hi, I think all will look fine once your entire kitchen is installed. But you now have me second guessing my choices.

I also ordered a champagne bronze tap...I think Delta. What brand is yours? And in my monitor, yours looks chrome or nickel. I was thinking the tap would have a bit more gold. Would you mind taking another photo of yours perhaps away from the window (unless it is already installed.)

I am having champagne gold cabinet hardware, called Honey. My island pendants are a linen and bronze color. They will probably not match anything, but they were the first thing that i picked out for my kitchen. I do not have a hanging chandelier in my breakfast area, but do have a mounted sconce that is a brassy color.

It is delta ! And yes we are taking it back to confirm it actually is champagne bronze , I remember it looking alot more gold in the store. I took this picture to compare all 3 , I can then make up my mind if u want to do a back tap instead because the pendants are staying

It does look like CB when comparing it to the Delta site. That photo of the CB looks too gold. Let us know what you find out.

I am in the camp that the black faucet will be too dark and show water spots. You could use some Rub n Buff and try to tone down your pendent light bronze.

BTW - We also have a Delta pot filler in CB for over the range.

That CB color is a bit of a chameleon depending on the fixture it is on and the lighting around it. I was looking at a Brizo display recently and thought they had two "gold" colors, but it was just the Brizo Luxe Gold looking different on different faucets. It looked champagne on one and copper-y on another.

Yes this tap def look different in different lights ! I swear it was may more gold when I saw it

Having gone through this myself, I would recommend waiting until the cabinet doors and counters are installed to see how you feel about everything together in the space. Can you order the black faucet and return the one you don’t install?

I think I’m going to do that ….I believe I can return it but it won’t be the same tap and I love the tap design (doesn’t come in black) , I’m leaning toward keeping the tap and doing black pulls but then champagne pulls on the island . I’ve seen pictures of different tap colour than pulls and I really like it. Perhaps I will wait as my counters go in Thursday then decide if I want to change out the tap to black , even if I do decide to change out the tap , it will still go as there will be black pulls , thanks for the advice ! Good idea

I think your kitchen look elegant. No matter the color you choose, you can both make your black stuff go to dirty or an impressive look. I think black is no matter, somehow it will make your kitchen look gorgeous and the dark color would hide the dust and make it look clean. However, it's depend on your material and the quality of the paint. With low quality of material, it's make your black items become awful, but with the right one, you may overwhelmed with it.

Thank you ! I think I’ve decided to keep my tap but my counters go in Thursday I will make the final choice then ! The whole is being cut by the plumbers the next day so I have to choose Thursday :)
