Our new house is an open floor plan. See attached pics from when the house was listed. Note: these are pics with the previous owners furniture. They had a sectional with the TV mounted above the fireplace. We will not mount our tv above the fireplace, but will instead mount it on the wall perpendicular, where their piano was.

We are having a challenging time with this layout. We are considering buying a sectional and placing it in the same spot like the sellers did to help ground the space and divide the room. Any other furniture layouts you can think of with or without a sectional?
