Honeywell thermostats

I have a split system and my thermostats have recently stopped performing in a +1/-1 cycle. I had the evaporator coil replaced in March and no issues until Memorial Day. Both thermostats are the same and I've swapped them and even bought the most similar one that Lowes carried and I'm getting the same issue not matter which one I use.
The unit is cycling on and off at the set temp and basically runs for 8-12 minutes at a time and is off for about the same amount of time. The time on and off is dependent on the outside temp.
I'm looking for some suggestions.

What you are describing appears to be short cycling. This is usually caused by over sized AC equipment. How large is the house, where are you located, and how large is the AC?

Is there a supply vent near the thermostat? If so then try closing it. This will help the area near the thermostat from cooling down to quickly.

Some thermostats have settings where the cycles per hour and the temperature differential can be changed. Post the model of the thermostat so that the installation manual can be reviewed to see which settings are available.

Short cycling is the conclusion I have come to.

I am in Houston, Texas,h ouse is 2744sq ft, 4 ton carrier unit. House was built in 2013, I have owned for 3 years and this is all the original equipment.

Both thermostats are model: TH2110DH1002

There are no vents close to thermostats.

I did have to call Honeywell last summer because the algorithms were off in one of the thermostats, the wake leave return sleep settings were engaging at times different from what they were set to.

The TH2110DH1002 does not have a temperature dead band adjustment. But it does allow changing the number of cycles per hours. It is Setup Function No. 9 (Compressor Cycle Rate). The default is 3 cycles per hour. Trying changing it to 2.

Setting No. 13 is the Early Start setting. The default is on. If you have not do do already, it needs to be set to off if you want the setback setting to turn on and off at the times you have set.
