FYI I’m alternating copper spray, neem and essential oil spray, and peroxide spray. i reapply after rain.

i hate Ts .. but have grown them forever .. but never in AL .... and i never sprayed or treated them for anything ... except to pick off those huge hornworms or whatever they are called...

and they were some on the ugliest plants in my garden ...

and by august i had so many Ts i couldnt give them away.. and most ended up in the compost pile ...

on some level.. i dont understand why you are having so much trouble with them ... that they need this much love ....

im wondering if they are in mother earth.. or potted.. because thats a whole other level of problems ...

ps: do be aware.. that if what you are spraying is a contact killer .. then there is no reason to spray the stuff all the time.. if you dont see anything on the plant to kill ... and also consider.. damaged leaves.. will look damaged for the rest of the year .. they never heal.. and look nice again ...

well, chemical burn would be good news. so I hope youre right . They are in a raised garden bed, and I have a couple in grow bags The sprays are for prevention, and I usually only spray when its shady …Gardening in the deep south is a totally different process than with anywhere else. I used to grow them in KY and not once did i ever have to worry about disease. the first time I tried to grow tomatoes down here i lost every plant to either disease or leaf footed bugs before the fruit could ripen. it just gets so incredibly humid down here that diseases are tough to avoid. we have to take prevetative measures. i’m a newb in the sense that this is the first year I’ve tried to grow organic.
