Ben Vernooij/Autumn Frost

Does anyone have both Ben Vernooij and Autumn Frost?

Both are described as having margins which fade from yellow to cream. Does one hold the yellow better than the other (under similar conditions)?

I only have Autumn Frost, but I can say in my yard with some sun or full shade (I have two)

the yellow margins maintain all summer.

This is the one in shade.

My two Autumn Frosts... both are turning cream color one in more shade than the other. I LOVE this plant. The last to go down in Fall for me.

Autumn Frost is one of my strongest performers, and gorgeous the entire season.

I love Ben Vernooij but if you get it in the sun it will turn cream on you. I certainly don't think its different enough from Autumn Frost to warrant buying one just to compare.

Ben Vernooij is wonderful. I do have both….Ben Vernooij has thicker leaves, does fine with lots of sun, grown in blue ceramic pots on brick steps (think HOT DRYING SUN). My AF is young, but pretty.
