Snowbound has a slightly greige tint. I would bring a door sample to make sure anything looks good. Light or dark won't matter as long as you like it with the cabinet color.

I brought a door sample with me to decide the countertops and then brought the door and counter samples to decide the backsplash.

I think it depends on the rest of the room. What is the plan for walls and floor? IMO it’s important to have one or two elements that are darker to ground the space. A white or very light countertop can look great with white cabinets if the floor or walls or backsplash will be darker (at least a midtown). But if your floors are white and you want white walls I’d go with a darker countertop - perhaps a soapstone.
