I can't be much help. I have Bantels Sensation started from barely there rhizome and leaves.

It took a very long time, at least a year, before I saw any growth. I planted in Fall, and it had grown nothing by Summer.

By Fall, it had grown roots.

It's been three years, and the plant is finally growing and filling the pot.

It's just been so painfully slow

Until just this season, I was tired of looking at it not doing much.

I had the worse luck with this one. Now the ones I have seem to grew really great. As long as you have it in a warm place, you could increase the water. During the summer months, my are drowning in water. Once I bring them in for the winter, I almost never water them. They do go thru a 'shock' period but will recover and take off. As long as it is still alive says you are doing something right.
