It’s hard to see the light fixture but it looks like there is a fan over the table. It would be nice to add a proper fixture over the table that is more of a statement piece. Also some art, mirrors, and window coverings would add some much needed texture and interest. Not sure if you are into rugs in the dining room but that might help too. The furniture is very neutral and any accessories you add will help to set the tonw

thank you ! i thought of getting a chandelier instead of the awful fan… maybe using the table extension tp look a bit bigger and a rug. maybe a mirror on the console but not sure if gold frame would work … or if a painting on canvas or photography is better.
also would a jute braided rug work ? because the colors are cream and plain…

Ok well adding more white is not a way to head for 'less boring'. A proper light fixture/curtain panels and art will liven and add interest to your space.

You could have just the backs of the chairs reapolstered in a fun fabric.
