front door/entrance

hello…
i cant purchase another door but just bought this house and i so dislike the door.
walks will be painted white but i hate the oval shape glass and the design on it. can it be replaced to a square glass ? if not should i paint the door black or white ???

So sorry you dont like them.I think the glass design is lovely! I would paint them white, and also frame out the entite door wall in a white trim....and while you’re at it, continue the trimwork around the existing area with a chair rail or wainscoting. It will be beautiful!

I think even replacing the glass with a plain glass would help - probably something frosted or some other treatment for privacy. I wouldn’t paint as the wood looks great with your floors. Getting rid of the flowery design would be first for me. A local glass business can do this.
