This appeared near our stone wall, likely bird planted from the neighbor's tree. Leaves are fuzzy. What is it?





Also, is said tree a mulberry? (Yes, that's bamboo; yes, we have a root barrier (hopefully long enough), and no, we do not have any control over the pictured garden.)
