A nice patch of a delosperma

A friend of mine messaged me a picture of this plant that appears out front in his yard the past two years (he is new to the house). (It looks like a delosperma to my eyes)

Many years ago I tried for a few seasons to get any delosperma to return for me but I gave up I just don't have the sharp drainage they need. Clearly this one loves its location.

Beautiful!! I too tried a few times to establish this and it just wouldn't take. I thought i had a good spot for it - hot, dry, sunny - but it just was not meant to be I guess. I still think about trying them again every so often. Thanks for sharing this photo - at least we can live vicariously!
