Beautiful❣️❣️I had Italian porcelain wood look tiles installed in my front hallway and had my new oak stairs and banister stained to match it. I had porcelain wood look tiles (lighter in color) installed in my bathrooms. The tiles are water resistant, strong, and easy to clean.

Those are really nice. FYI - longer boards need flatter floors and generally thicker layer of bonding to get them to be smooth and flush with each other. It takes an experienced tilesetter. Tip: after having our own wood-look porcelain installed, I recommend using a darker shade of grout than you think you need. The more noticeable grout is, the more it betrays the illusion.

@theresen that is good to know. We actually like the idea of the brown grout and even using the darker one as suggested. We want to try keep the cleaning of grout lines down to a minimum.

Be careful as well of going to dark. It should be of a similar color to disappear

I think if the concrete is prone to cracking installing tile will also be prone to cracking. I do think the grout should be as close as possible to the tile color if you want to even begin to fool anyone those tiles are wood.

That tile looks great. It really looks like wood and it's a perfect medium wood color that I believe will be timeless.

@Patricia thanks, interesting my sister in law has engineered oak wood floors and there is a distinct darker line around each plank like grout. Will also check you comment about potential cracks with tiles. We are however planning to buy extra tiles for any mishaps
