Blue Eclipse is taller and better budded this season than in the previous ones.

Bragging Rights was one I got last year. It's growing in a pot, and isn't doing much in those conditions.

Thanks for posting the "near" whites. I've been doing research on them as well as some other colors. I like all the reds. Not a bad one in the bunch.

How hot are your temps? The reds are really vibrant. So what is the name of the one which offended Houzz?

Life is interfering with my daylily viewing for the next couple of days, but I just popped in to see these and I'm happy I did.........The two that jump out at me are Irresistible You, and My Heart Belongs to Daddy. The colors/pattern on Daddy remind me a bit of Christmas in Oz (which I very much liked). Are the scapes self supporting?............. My favorite "new" red so far of yours is Woman in Red. But IY is nice too (although I can't spell "Irresistible" worth a penny according to my spell checker-lol). Any difference in sun/heat tolerance for you?.........The form on Last Snowflake is lovely. Look at those edges, and I also am intrigued with Maney Augustine. Never heard of it. What's the scoop for you on it?.....................Maryl

I just got My Heart Belongs to Daddy this spring. It has put out its 1st bloom, not as pretty as yours, but the plant looks a bit spindly right now. I look forward to it next year. Nancy - Yes, I am liking Sparkling Giants more now. I'll get it in the ground later this year and see if the bud count improves.

Julia - Our temps were very low yesterday and today. NIght temps from 55-60 and daytime temps of 79-85. I can't tell you the entire offending name, or this whole thread will be blocked. Do a Google search on daylily Four No and the whole name will come up for you.

Maryl - My Heart Belongs to Daddy has had short scapes the three years I've had it, so the scapes don't have trouble. I think the problem is grubs. I wouldn't recommend it for you because it's an evergreen. Irresistible You just started blooming on our two cool days. Tomorrow will be 92, so I'll check it then for sunfastness. It's an evergreen too. Maney Augustine is a Chad Bush intro. It's a dormant that I've had for three years. It had mediocre performance the first two years, but this year is doing very well - probably because grubs stayed out of the bed where it's planted for once.

Beautiful bunch of daylilies! I am not sure which ones I like the best. I guess I like Patriot's Day and Irresistible You best. Your whites are lovely. That clump of Lillian's Thin Ice looks good to me. I am loving ours. Of the third group, I like Maney Augustine and Dr. Jules Michael Vinkman.

The reds are gorgeous, I cant decide on a favorite among the first four. I also like Maney Augustine but prefer Grove Park Terrace from that group. I don’t remember seeing Grove Park earlier, but with this older brain ya never know, lol!

Arctic Lace is my favorite white, Rowena is also calling me.

Love the reds , My Heart belongs to Daddy doesn't show the same intense red as the others though . Last Snowflake and Believe in Angels are pretty , the standout for me is Artic Lace looks to be more white than the others ! Maney Augustine is my choice from the pinks .

Well, Debra, if my y Lillian's Thin Ice ever looked like that I would be shocked since it is just not spitting out its first blooms. I love reds so that is my favorite part of the post, and Irresistible You is a beauty and to hear it is good makes it even better. My Heart Belongs to Daddy does. just as you are describing, and since I got it from it's hybridized, Maney Augustineis lovely and I really like The Color of Wonderful.

Kate - It was funny that the post was blocked. I think they probably didn't want any political discussions on these forums, and that was the cause.
